Yeah, they had the cameras out at other things besides the concert too. I hope it also gets a later DVD release because, although the concert was short, I don't think it could fit within that timeslot with commericals, even if they cut out the 321 Breakin Out prize announcement and the extraneous encore performance of 321 Breakin Out. It certainly couldn't fit if they're adding offshot stuff.

I do hope they keep the "encore" chants and show how we were completely denied. Although they might do some creative editing.

I didn't actually see it since I didn't make it into the handshake event, but I heard there was a camera there from the nice wota couple I met. Apparently the cameras filmed their little 3-year-old wota meeting the MM girls.

The non-handshake autograph session that I did make it into didn't have cameras. Unless I completely blocked them out since I wasn't really focused on my surroundings at that point.

I wish. I asked H!F if they would do any more and they said this:

Maki Goto will be featured on the b-side of DJ Mayumi's new single, "PARADISE / CRAZY IN LOVE" along with FALCO&SHINO. It will be released July 29th. The a-side "PARADISE" features AK-69, BIG RON, and JAY'ED.

I don't really know DJ Mayumi's work very well, so I have no clue about how the song will turn out. I do know that I'm ready for her to stop floating around different artists, though, in her favor, in all of her avex songs, she was the lead and only vocalist. That's gotta be good, right? Right? At least Maki can still get work.

Back on topic, I'm rather happy with the outcome. What H!P needs now are not big announcement but more quality releases leading to big sales figures.

The streak of singles since Egao Yes Nude (exempting Pepper Keibu) have been some of my favorites in the entire MM single lineup. Completely subjective, but the quality of them is very high. The last three in particular are very, very good.

I think their last few singles, save a few, have been very good - but isn't music different for everyone? Myself, I think they are strong, catchy and a welcome addition to the discography. But, if Eri doesn't like it, that is the beauty of opinion. Lord knows I've hated some of the things that have come out of H!P before that others have loved.

I'm very underwhelmed with the announcement, mostly because when I tried to watch them the video was very jumpy to the point where I just gave up on trying to follow the subs and listened. I don't think it was my internet connection, but I will have to try later. I'm just concerned that if the announcement videos were that hard to watch that the videos will be entirely pointless for me.

However, it is nice to see the gates opening. Acknowlegement of US fans by Morning Musume is quite exciting for me. I would love to see them doing more with the market out here. So I can spend my money on them without the outrageous shipping charges... ;)

Which is amusing to me as I was first dragged to crunchyroll when I was in Japan. Stupid region and licensing. However, 大小姐 doesn't translate well into English as 1 phrase.

Yes, they are part of Hello! Project. They're under the Hello! Pro Taiwan part of the official Hello! Project website. (They also took part in the NEW STAR auditions, but didn't win. They were added later on as this unit. They were even backup dancers for Koharu in the 2009 Winter concerts.

A 1 minute preview of Frances & Aiko’s debut MV has been released. If you remember Frances & Aiko were declared H!P members back in March, but since then there has been almost no appearances from them except for the occasional Ice Creamusume member blog pic with them.

Well now an MV preview has been released from their debut song (I don’t know the exact title but according to Google Translate the title on the video means “Big Miss”). In one word I would have to say it’s “cute”, the rhythm is sort of catchy and the MV looks great for a green screen.

It has to be overly cute to the point where it's creepy to appeal to little kids, anyway, little kids don't buy things, parents do, with Minimoni often parents who liked Momuse bought Minimoni stuff for their kids (or themself), but the appeal to parents is missing with Frances and Aiko, so I have my doubts about the potential for commercial success.
Personally I won't buy their releases or merch, maybe in a few years, but now it's just not my thing.
