That's a cool theory. But the vast majority the OSTs I have belong to movies/games/shows that I haven't even seen or played.

It's mostly a vocals issue for me anyways. I personally do not prefer music with vocals. Sure, I like a few things that have singing, but I could never tell you what the singer is actually singing about; my mind auto blocks out the lyrics or something.
