So I just finished Sengoku Rance. Are any of the alternative routes worth playing through? I took me over 120 turns to finish the game. Not sure if that is good or not.

Every route except Ran. Even free mode is better than Ran.

Definitely give the other routes a shot if you found the game pretty easy. Use a manual.

How do I change someones gender at the gender swap temple?

Hell, I restarted the game in my first two playthroughs to start correctly grinding dungeons from the beginning because i was running out of time.

You just select them when you go to the temple.

Note that you can't change the gender of anyone other than Rance and the generics, which takes most of the fun out of it.

Yes. Kenshin's route is very different from the True History route. Isoroku route should out soon. I hate Ran, but it's probably worth a playthrough.

In True Route it's not that bad if you can use Kentarou on Gigas a lot. Had him at 77 on final battle, made it a crap ton easier since I couldn't even put my Rance in the front row.

the temple event and final battle is not hard if you just do all the dungeons. I don't see why you would skip them anyway since you get good items out of em.
