/jp/, I want to ask you something.
I've turned 18 recently, and my parents bought me a new comuter as a present. This made me happy, even though I mostly play touhou recently.
The problem is, they bought a huge ass monitorfor me as a bonus.
How will this gargant affect my grazin skills? Will it help, be a problem, or do nothing? I can just tell my parents that I prefer playing on small ones after all, then get the money back.

It will help you dumbfuck.

Try playing a Touhou once, and see how well you do. The biggest problem you'll have will probably be the inability to see the whole screen at the same time, so prepare to have stupid deaths.

Also, 640x480 on a big monitor must be delicious. I love pixels.

Play with a pad or wireless keyboard so you can sit further away from the monitor.

You might have to adjust, but in the long run it should make it easier. A bigger screen has just that much less ambiguous bullet positions.

I had no problem when I got an LCD

Also if you ever play, you know, other games, it's FUCKING AWESOME playing in huge widescreen

Thanks people, I was a little afraid, cause, you know, "bigger is better until its too big".
No reason why this thread should still live I guess.

What's wrong with playing Touhou in a window?
