The D button, default keyboard A, I think (YEAH I KNOW FUCK YOU ITS GAME TERMINOLOGY) controls free-flight and dashing. Hold it down to dash or fly. While dashing or flying, you will auto graze any projectiles. Dashing is free. Grazing costs energy. Flying/grazing costs energy.

Note that some character's dashes are limited and have vulnerable frames.

Try Dash+A, B, or C for ground-based coverage. Different characters have different moves. Yuyu's Dash C is made of sex and win.

And, just so you know, you don't get to graze just by sitting still. You have to be dashing, flying, or in the frames of specific attacks (Generally, attacks that REALLY SHOULD graze) to graze.

While dashing/flying/grazing, note that you are still vulnerable against beatings.

Story mode spell cards teach you how to graze by raping you if you don't figure out how useful grazing is. A great, yet awful, way to learn the game.
