Indian style, with an egg and some basmati rice, is truly an amazing and wonderful gastronomic experience.

I usually buy Lalah's curry power, and make it with potatoes, onions, chicken, then boil some rice, some eggs, and that's my supper all sorted out. Then I can save the rest for later when munchies strike.

Which makes it interesting. I find diversity to be one of the more enjoyable aspects of the curry genre. Indian curries tend to be either very soft and mild or have strong, bold taste and burn the hell out of your mouth, while the Japanese stuff tends more towards a milder flavor and either heavy spiciness or more sweet, and a smoother texture than it's chunkier Indian brethren.

CoCo Ichi's curry can get pretty spicy.

Spicy level from 1-10 and I usually get 3 or 4. 5 if I feel like hurting myself.

Normal Japanese curry rice isn't spicy though, but it can vary depending on the restaurant.

Curry came to Japan via Britain, not directly from India.
So, basically Japanese curry is not so spicy but taste like Western stew.
But, you can find many only-curry restaurants in Japan.
You can eat spicy curry there if you want.
If you eat Japanese curry in fake-Japanese restaurant of other asian, that is not Japanese curry. It is the same thing to korean sushi.
