Please read 2-3 sites before playing and even then try the singleplayer games first.
Playing without knowing what you do is not only frustrating for yourself but also for your
opponents, a player that left because he couldn't ron for his no Yaku hand or because
someone ron'd his discard just kills the whole fun for everyone.

Also keep in mind that Mahjong is more a game of "not losing" than straightforward winning.
Furthermore you play with 3 other people and luck plays a big part in it, so dont expect to
win more than 1 out 4 games, especially not as a beginner.

hi, mahjong noob here.
I don't feel quite ready to compete against real people so I've been playing Saikyo no Mahjong 3D, trying to learn my yaku and trying to correctly determine my 3 sided+ waits.
So yeah I won earlier with one of my biggest hand so far (pic related) and I wanted to be sure to know what yaku I got exactly. There's the pon of green dragons, and maybe san ankou? It would be much appreciated if one of you could tell me.. since I can't read moonrunes.

Most are just you're some guy that gets invited over by a bunch of girls to play strip mahjong (or something similar).

Exception is probably JanJan paradise and VS Mahjong Otome Ryouran. In those, you pick a girl you play as, and battle other girls. First girl to get stripped to her panties loses. In them, you sorta win even if you lose, since your girl strips if she loses.
