Tenshi's spellcards that change the map by adding "terrain".
Those are pretty cool. Something like that, with uneven terrain, should have been added into the game proper and not just the story modo.

Most of the spellcards are just boring and tedious with a simple grazing gimmick, though.

Just thought I'd add a screenshot. Pretty underappreciated card.
Patchy covers the stage with a bunch of mirrors, if you shatter the white ones they convert to lasers and reflect projectiles. Reds convert to lasers if you don't shatter them.
Interactive objects in fighting games are fun, like Tenshi's platforms and this card.
