I agree that she gets a disproportionate amount of attention from people who play the game, but thats not really true. Shes a little bland most of the time, but her yandere moments make up for it and being passive is an interesting character trait once in a while.
In truth the girls in this game are unusually well matched but two of their story-lines stand out for being pretty daring (and one ending) for a romance novel.

"Maru Rosuto Gemu" ~ a dream rewritten

It's not the same main character as the first, but the three girls from Yume Miru Kusuri can make cameo appearances since it takes place a few years later (except Mizuki if you got her bad ending). You can use you old save data to load a new game with and it uses that storyline, but by default Nekoko's was the one that happened and she runs her theme park.
