I think I'd go for Lancer. He's got a cool personality.

Lancer, definitely. It'd be the greatest pick ever: we could just go around enjoying life or death fights, and when we finally battle until we're utterly exhausted, we can relax and go fishing.

Do we magically obtain Magus' abilities, or we remain as we are?

If we turn into skillful magus, I'd go with Caster, so she can teach me a thing or two. Of course, I'd give her full control of our (her) strategy lest she cut my balls off for being annoying.

If I'm still myself, then I'd go with Lancer or Saber. They're pretty self-capable and wouldn't mind too much having a weak-ass dude as a master.

I still don't understand how Lancer could possibly lose in a fight against a servant that isn't Berserker.

All he has to do is Gae Bolg; if one Gae Bolg doesn't get the job done, then he can just use another one. It's not like it has an extraordinarily high mana cost. Even if he were facing Gilgamesh, who, with his god-like luck could avoid a fatal strike from the Gae Bolg, Lancer could just Gae Bolg him again after being on the receiving end of several dozen Noble Phantasms (since not even getting pierced through the heart can stop this motherfucker from participating in a battle he wants to win).

Rank EX

NP2
Can control all forms of water. When she is in contact with water, all stats are raised by 1.

Territory Creation is normally B, but becomes EX if in water.
