Does anyone know how to get Battle Moon Wars to work in windowed mode on Windows 7? Fullscreen works in XP compatibility mode, but as I'm using a widescreen monitor it's rather inconvenient. Windowed mode plays music, and accepts keyboard input (namely the esc key) but is just a black window, which makes it hard to play.

As a command line argument, you mean?

You can add this to your shortcut, -w should work too. When you rightclick and go to the properties, theres that "target" screen or whatever where the filepath is located. Put it at the end of that son of a bitch

bmw.exe -window just loads fullscreen like normal.
What am I doing wrong?

Don't know about Windows 7, but I sometimes use D3DWindower to window my programs.

It doesn't seem to work on 7. Programs never launch and after closing I got one of those "detected that this program did not work successfully" messages.

Please elaborate.

Did you copy D3dHook.dll into the BMW folder?

Yes, and still nothing happens.
