Hey /jp/, I've been interested in VNs for a while now and have played some big titles such as TypeMoon's works and most recently Ever17, and was wondering if you had any good recommendations for what I should play next. I'd prefer something that'll make me cry like a little girl, but anything's fine as long as it'll keep me interested. And also, I don't care how many times you've seen a thread like this before.

tl;dr version: VN's you would recommend

Clannad.

I played it a year ago, but I still cry whenever I hear Clannad music.

Op here. I've heard good things about Umineko and Clannad, and was considering either one next. Quick question though: Would I still enjoy Clannad even if I've seen the anime? Will I still cry like a little girl if I know what's going to happen? Or is there tons more shit that isn't in the anime that I can enjoy?

Save yourself 300 hours and skip it.

The anime adaptation wasn't all that bad and the only reason you would have to play it is if you are a Ryou/Kyoufag.

And even then you are bound to be disappointed.

Ignore this fag. Tomoyo, Kyou, Kotomi, and Fuuko's routes are all worth playing the VN for.

After Story is what you're playing it for. I cried long, hard bitch tears to it, more than I've ever cried to anything else (even in the 3d world).
I still cry when I hear Chiisana te no Hira.

>> No.2983111

I just finished the Mizuki route of a drug that makes you dream. Really liked it, especially the voice for Nekoko. Also did the typemoons.

Saya No Uta is by far my favorite, and as proof I put together the game+translation+crack for a torrent I have up on pirate bay under the user ssaya. Also have it up on demonoid.

Not really, Fuuko and Kotomi's story were worked properly in the anime, just without the romance and the Tomoyo OVA was surprisingly decent as an abridgment of her route.

For someone who has watched the two seasons of clannad and the OVAs there is not much to be gained by playing the VN.

But by all means, if you want to, play it and then go back to tell I was right.

Planetarian
Umineko
Air

Anything else I should consider?
