Okay /jp/, I come to you, seeking help.

I plan on going as a maid to the next anime convention that pops up, and I am a male. I have been commented on my "girly body" and my "female looks" (pretty boy). I need help - changing voice to be more feminine, how to do makeup, and which hairstyle I should use. I plan on importing a maid outfit, so I'll be looking for one until then.

I'll take pics and show them when I'm finished and will also take pics at the convention I go to~ Thank you Anon-sama~

He's right, they're more likely to help you. Plus they have more experience in the matter.
Won't hurt you to make another thread there.

About the voice, apparently the way to develop it is to speak in nothing but falsetto for a few weeks; after a while it supposedly just clicks.

I wasn't aware you could pack so much homosexuality into one innocent-looking post.
>anime convention
>dressing up as a girl in public
>not posting a picture of your chosen meidofuku

More than likely you won't be able to convincingly pull off a feminine voice. At best it will sound like a falsetto or a feminine gay man.

Even if you can pull off the looks, your voice will be a dead giveaway every time.

As for makeup, less is more. Hair, need to see pics, but maybe you'll want to consider a wig.

Don't forget adding tildas~
To appear more cute and girly~
Even though you're not~

I understand the voice part - I'm definitely not talking much when I leave. I've only done makeup a few times, and I can do hair easily, it just depends on a style... I need to pick something out.

It doesn't. Or else every trap out there would have a convincing voice.

>> No.2939328

Honestly: Get a girl who knows what she's doing to help you, or don't wear make-up at all. It takes YEARS to learn how to put that on properly.

Eh, to be fair most traps aren't in social situations that allow them to practice feminine vocals constantly.

>> No.2939341

For makeup, just wear some foundation and lip gloss.

That sounds good, what about eye liner?

Full-time traps do. The only traps I know who can pull off a convincing voice are the ones who started on hormones in their teens and were able to pull off a somewhat convincing voice already.

Otherwise it comes off this kinda half-manish/half-feminine voice that just doesn't sound right.

I have a -really- pale complexion...

Eye-liner really depends on your complexion and general looks really.

I have pretty pale skin so eye-liner just never seems to work well for me.
