I can unlock ep1-3 fine, how the hell do I skip everything in EP4. Since I can't 'cast' the spell' without save.

Bern and Lambda aren't allied against BATTLER, they're allied against BEATRICE. Bern is FOR Battler, Lambda is AGAINST them both.

So who's fighting against who again? As I see it there are 4 players in the game: Lambdadelta, Bernkastel, Beato, and Battler. I don't believe Beato will stay as the race horse, she's way too cunning for that.

In essence, It's still Beato and Battler's game. However, Lambda and Bern are sort of playing a "game" within a game, and Beato and Battler are their game pieces.

Lambda wants to keep the game going for eternity so she can stay with Bern forever. If it looks like either side is about to win, then she'll step in and help the losing side so the game will tie and continue.

Bern wants Battler to win so the game will end and she can leave Lambda.

The setup is as follows.

Lambdadelta recruits Beatrice to set up a "birdcage".
The "birdcage" is 'The endless game between the Endless Golden Witch Beatrice and the willful human Battler'.
Bernkastel, in her boredom, willingly waltzes in, and roots for the human Battler to win, since she was a human at one point.
Lambdadelta's plot for the "birdcage" is that NOBODY wins.
So it's Battler vs. Beato, with Battler supported by Bernkastel and Lambdadelta supporting whoever is losing at the time. "Beatrice will never win", because when she takes the lead, she has to fight against two Voyager-tier Witches.
