from Reikon on the MangaGamer forums, why their releases tend to be of low quality

>Work with MG is always rushed, at least compared to the Jast companies. Translation and editing at MG usually takes about 2 months (and that's for long games). Jast seems to take that long for their beta phase alone. So I doubt Kira Kira was especially rushed compared to the rest of their games.

Kira Kira has some errors, but it doesn't distract from the game, and I would rather play that quality quicker then wait a year and play something more polished.

Kira Kira had a pretty good translation, which is surprising considering that Setoguchi Renya style is far more difficult to translate than the average fap-fest eroge that Jast translate.

There are some parts that are just totally off though. I can only tell the voiced lines, but one that stood out was Tonoya's message near the end of Kirari's normal end. And it's not like it was difficult either.

I worry how much of Maejima's dialogue is lost in translation.
