No. It's not nearly as much of a cluster fuck as many screenshots you probably saw would lead you to think. Most of those are taken at the highest difficulty. The lower ones are more manageable (but still challenging)

Yes, it is a good game. Start with Perfect Cherry Blossom, Normal. Then move up.

1) The patterns are mostly pretty and fun to deal with, and there's plenty of room for improvement before you even hit the point where to advance further you have to read detailed strategy lessons.

2) You absolutely should, unless you hate fun. I'd suggest starting with Perfect Cherry Blossom, and start on normal. Picture related = best and hungriest touhou

3) It's accurate except for the fact that you're missing the enemy flying loli at the top, and also for most spell cards the bullets will be in neat patterns for the most part. They definitely are FUCKING EVERYWHERE though.
