Hello.... its me, the Anon who boaught the Bootleg Swimsuit Saber.

I have a problem, I also have an original figurine of Saber in her Date Uniform(2nd to left in the pic). After removing the skirt to see her pantsu many times, some dye from her skirt seemed to have rub off on her navel, it looks horrible.

How should i remove this brown coloring, /jp/?

Love, Anonymous.

Fuck, I just checked my Goodsmile Holiday Saber and found the same thing as the OP. Also, my figs have gotten really dusty. Any advice for just cleaning figs in general too?

1) Don't buy bootlegs
2) A Q-tip and some mineral spirits will remove it, but you need to be VERY gentle and VERY careful or you might take off too much. You don't know how good the underlying paint is at staying on. (I'm assuming you already tried rubbing with your finger and usign water and a soft rag).

To keep this from happening, again. You can go to a hobby shop and buy a clear coat (or hard coat) and put it on the places where rubbing is likely to occur. This will cause the clear coat to rub against itself instead of the paint and no transfer will happen (though eventually this coating will wear down with use, but you can always apply more later. Don't be lazy and apply a thick layer, a thin layer is what you want as a thick one will whiten or silver depending on how it was made).
