Does the re-texture patch fucks up the deathbomb timing (or general input) in th06? Damn, I just did a hard run and got all the way to Remilia without continuing, I died like 2 or 3 times before her because I failed to deathbomb.

Or maybe I'm performing poorly tonight.

It's possible, just difficult. You don't have as long as in IN or PCB Reimu. I'm not aware of any other restrictions, but it's certainly not impossible because I have pulled it off before.

Deathbomb is possible in EoSD but the window is very short. Basically you need to know you're going to get hit to stand a real chance at doing it.

As for the retexture patch I'm pretty sure it does nothing to the input or deathbomb window, but you never know.

I asked because it was actually one of you that said the patch interfered with the input. It was on another topic a few days ago, I thought it was just rambling but now I'm puzzled. There was a moment in the game that I swear I had deathbombed.

Guy who made the patch here.

It shouldn't any effects on performance unless you're running some sort of toaster for a PC. However, problems regarding any input delays were never brought up when when I released the patch, so I never really looked into it.

If there's enough demand, I may look into a low-resolution version.

And yes, v0.3 is the latest version.
