Do you think your life would have been different if you were born in Japan?

>> No.2532194

Yes, I would be a successful otaku.

>> No.2532203

No, it would be just the same.
Yes, it would be completely different.

Choose one.

>> No.2532204

I wouldn't be here that's for sure.

>> No.2532212

I would have tall buildings to jump from.
Nothing taller than 4 floors where I live.

>> No.2532218

It would rock

>> No.2532220

Yes.

Boy am I glad I wasn't.

>> No.2532222

Different? Most likely.
For the better? Probably not.

>> No.2532223

>>2532212
You can kill yourself off of a 4-floor building if you go head first and keep yourself from flipping.

>> No.2532225

I would kill myself before I became a pedophilic otaku failure.

>> No.2532228

>>2532186
Would I be a cute rich loli NEET? If so, no, my life would not have been much different.

>> No.2532242

Yeah. I would have probably grown up as an average, boring person.

I'd rather keep my current pathetic existence.

>>2532228
Holy shit, a female on /jp/?

How large are your boobs?

Yes. Your pic is related.

>> No.2532258

If the bullying of outsiders in Japanese schools is as bad as it's made out to be, I'd probably be serving jail time for massacring my class.

>> No.2532285

Well, perhaps I would become a geisha. I do have the personality for it.

Too bad you don't have the looks, huh?

Would probably have a bigger complex about fitting in. Caused me problems before, don't want to imagine the lengths it would have messed up with my head if I was born in a culture of repression.
Probably would be one of those students pushing themselves too hard for examinations. The whole bandanna on the forehead. "Toudai or bust!".

Meh, I have more fun imagining alternate female me than alternate japanese me.

Don't worry, I'm sure you'd find another slut like meru to drool over.

>> No.2532367

I would probably spend my life wishing I had been born in America or Europe.

>> No.2532380

>>2532339
Such mean thing to say.

>> No.2532399

Even the light bullying going on in the schools of my country left its mark on me. I got into fights every week for years back in elementary school. In the end I developed an "everything is black or white, there is no gray between it" personality. With my few friends and close relatives I'm a very nice and caring person, but if someone commits even the smallest insult against me I become a cruel bastard and don't stop until I've done everything to destroy that person.

I can only imagine what would have happened in Japan. Probably would have gone on a rampage and killed several people when I'd snapped.

>> No.2532407

Whenever someone posts that picture I can't help but respond.

Something about that picture is extremely irresistible, I just can't stop looking at her.

Also, no, if anything my life would be worse since Japan has bigger social expectations.

>> No.2532426

You know that even if you were born next door, your live would be totally different right?
The things that define what you are not only the environment that you live in, but more importantly everything you experience when you are little and what you absorb. What you are is how you passed your childhood and the following years, and that is hugely influenced by your family.

So let's say you make yourself a clone and give it to a Japanese family, he would be as much different from you as if you were given the clone to a random family in your own town.

So yes, your life would be different. OP is stupid.

>> No.2532449

Probably watch more anime, more serious gaming, wishing to be American or someshit. Also laugh at the image anime portrays of ugly japs because I see them daily.

>> No.2532460

>>2532426
Depressing to think that childhood determines so much of persons life.
I've always thought that one can recreate its personality as it wishes within boundaries of culture and whatnot.

>> No.2532479

>>2532460

Have YOU tried to change who you are? Shits fucking impossible.

>> No.2532490

>>2532426
Yeah, you're right.

My dad died in an accident a few months before I was born.

I sometimes I wonder what kind of life would I have now if that hadn't happened. He would probably have beat my ass into shape and not let me become a social reject fatass.
But then I wouldn't be here now and wouldn't be reading VNs which are responsible for many of my dearest memories.
If I had a time machine I probably wouldn't change anything in my past. Life is not perfect, but I'm scared that I'd become a completely different person.
