The proportions are mostly alright for animu style(yes, hands and legs are usually long) for the in-game sprites.
However, he fucks it up at some events CGs.

Overall, it's a barely above average style but distinctive style.

As for Lancer, as much as I love the guy I agree that his design is pretty fucking terrible. He looks so much nicer in his alternate outfits it's not even funny.

I actually like Shiki, since he was sort of a 'counter-emo'. His life was actually shitty, being close to death and all that, but he chooses to enjoy the good things about it rather than dwell on his misfortunes.

Still, I prefer Shirou. There's something about a character whose kindness is actually rooted upon a distorted personality. The moment Ayako mentioned that Shirou never laughed, I was a bit surprised but I never really thought much about it, until I found out later in the story that it was because Shirou was someone who could only be happy when the people around him are.

The Nanaya redesign in Battle Moon Wars, and consequently his new battle scenes, are fucking awesome. Well, the second arm not so much because of the beginning, but I'll overlook that.

Shiki's school design is used infinitely more than his orange and blue shirt, so it usually works out.
