I'm not giving up hope on the animu yet, voices tend to mold into a character, not the other way around, so even if it seems someone doesn't "fit" a character, I think when the anime starts and people actually hear the voices in action it'll be less of a shock.

Along with that, the OP's art doesn't bother me too much, though Beato's neck is really long. I would like to see more colored pictures as well, but if anything sample clips from the animation would be even better.
