The ridiculously perfect lighting brings out every imperfection possible in a face. Dry skin, black heads, pimples, discolorations, bags under eyes, wrinkles, flab, so forth. Without that airbrushing you'd think they did absolutely nothing to take care of themselves. Not to mention their teeth and eyes are often less white due to the white lighting.

Well, most men are not aroused by pretty girls. Prettiness, in most cases, is really ancillary. All most men care about is boobs and ass. Like, a girl can have the most well-proportioned face, creamy skin etc... and most dudes I've talked to wouldn't find her arousing unless she had a round ass and big boobs. This picture for example, I don't find anything "pretty" about it. All it is is a collection of mating cues. I still get a reaction out of it, because we men are hardwired to like this.

That being said, prettiness is pretty much my primary fetish. A slight, feminine (and female) frame with bright eyes and goth-loli (or something similar) aesthetic beats this image 100 fold. I feel abnormal.
