Does anyone else have an autistic aversion to seeing seiyuu's faces? I mean of course I know an actual human being has to go record lines for games to have spoken dialogue in the first place, but whenever I see their seiyuu's faces I get a sense of revulsion thinking about the actual person saying their lines. Like it overrides any imagining of the character with their face over it.

Azuma likes getting beaten anyway so there's no issue.

Matsuda's VA actually played another of that character type in Kintouka actually, though that game is pretty vanilla so the worst he does is shoving MC against a wall, a dubcon angry sex scene and a yandere confinement bad end where he keeps MC as his slutty mistress (male). But compared to all the other guys in that game it was a shock. It's always the reliable big brother types.

From the little I know there's Eva from ichu who is officially called a shotajiji https://www.i-chu.jp/unit/reberserk/eva/ and Veight from Granblue. As for story chapters, they seem(ed) to happen very often. Octavinelle&Scarabia chapters happened very close to one another (barely a month apart). Scarabia just ended on June 1st, and July schedule doesn't have Chapter 5 on it so they'll probably have 1 month break. I can definitely see Pomefiore happening next month though. Chapters are also incredibly long and separately added in parts to build up hype throughout the month.
Characters from previous chapters usually help when it comes to things related to the next problem dorm so we'll definitely see the scarabias again.

After having watched Dogra Magra movie my guess is that the author wanted to emulate it, at the end of it the protagonist wakes up in the same place he started and it's not clear how much of what he experience is even real.

The problem is in Dogra Magra you are constantly feed new informations that makes you question the protagonist's status of mind, new informations are introduced which make you question the previous statement and re-consider old scenes. When the ambiguous, nonsensical ending hits, it's perfectly in line with the story told so far.

Hashihime kinda apes that, but I feel like by the time you are done with Minakami's route the story laid plain what is real and what is not, and the successive routes still play around the established rules. Even Hanazawa's crazy route works with the established rules of time traveling and I don't think the side routes are that much whacky compared to the average Time Traveling story anyway. The characters actions through the routes are consistent.

Then the last route hits and the narrative does a 180°, there are some elements that are certainly ambiguous and make much more sense with author's clarification, but it's not enough to really point at anything else and it really doesn't create the same feeling of ambiguity. More so, Dogra Magra is one continuous story, Hashihime's felt like MInakami and Tamamori's story, with a Kawase's spin later and some side routes. Once you abandon that part the story kinda just loses anything that made it worth while, and it probably doesn' t help the last route theme is nonsensical.

I feel like the dynamic of Scarabia wouldn't work if Kalim was just Jamil's lackey or if both were evil. The light/darkness thing is fitting for them both. A very shortlived thought back when designs were first shown as that Kalim might've been Iago, while probably funny it would've been kinda boring.
As for Silver, there's probably a bit more to him than we know currently, and it might play a part later on.
Another one not inherently based on a villian is Rook, based on the Hunter from Snow White. But he's weird on his own way while not being fully a bad guy.
Personally, I like that there's a couple of good guys around, probably even the "good" guys have some bad guys in their school too. Like a Kuzco type guy.

Well a lot of the characters aren't based on the villains but characters/items loosely connected to them instead. It's only the dorm leads(with the exception of Kalim because plot) that are based directly on the villains themselves.

Also most characters are a mix of things from their movies and have some of the good guy elements in them too. Jamil is Jafar but also has some Jasmine in him, the Octas are mermaids who come to the surface themselves, Lilia is based off Malificent's bats(?) but also has some of the traits of the fairy godmothers, etc.

Having villain themed dorms for the "good guys" school wouldn't make sense, but at the same time I doubt they'd drop the villain theme of the game for new characters. Considering that and that the one RSA student we've seen is from a movie that there's already a dorm themed after, I'm guessing the RSA dorms would be themed some other way and just have some villain students mixed in. There are so many aspects of the main story that could have been expanded and weren't. I think the manga needed more volumes to be fair with the original concept. Kira and Kanazawa had a lot of backstory that could have been presented to readers.
