Characters whose main theme you feel doesn't fit them well.

Also, fuck my grammar, how would you word the previous sentence better?

Themes that don't fit the character. hurr

and probably Reimus

>> No.2363123

Main themes that don't fit their character well? Wait, no. The emphasis is not on the themes, but on the characters.
Well, no idea.
But I like Koishi and her theme and I think it fits her.
Wait, how does a theme fit anyone.

Well, the thing is, I wanted to avoid that sort of voice, since obviously, there's going to be people that will say Hartmann's Youkai Girl fits Koishi perfectly fine.

Infact, i can't really think of many themes that actually fit the characters at all. Kaguya, Eirin, Parsee, Utsuho. i usually found the stage background music far more fitting than the character themes; which came across more like guitar solos in one huge song

I think Maiden's Ball fits my idea of Marisa far better than any of her other themes. I fucking loved both the one in Seihou and the one in IaMP.

For someone that's supposed to be able to be nearly invisible because of her ability, Hartmann's Youkai Girl seems to be too aggressive. It certainly works as an Extra Boss theme though. I actually see it working alright for Satori. On the other hand, Last Remote fits her much better in my opinion, especially with the piano part.

Wait, what does the name "Last Remote" actually mean?

Koishi's song fits her early 20th century psychology theme she has going. She's like a big reference to all the scary things people have inside their heads that they don't know about or understand. It's also fun as fuck to fight her to.

>> No.2364201

>>2364169

From Touhou wiki:

Her theme song is titled "Hiroari Shoots A Strange Bird ~Till When", named after a story in which a warrior named Hiroari slays a youkai known as the Nue. This is a pun on the storyline. The "strange bird" is a Nue, also called the "Itsumaden", since it makes this cry near unmourned corpses, meaning "How long (will this corpse remain unattended)?"

Judging from the story of Perfect Cherry Blossom, the heroine plays the role of Hiroari, Youmu is the Nue, and the corpse is probably Yuyuko Saigyouji.
