Not missing much. Well, that's not true -- there's crazy CROSS-COUNTERS flying all over the place, but the ending...pretty fail. But not in a boring or predictable way, just not a way I wanted the game to go. But oh well, Japan always does this, starts strong, loses the genius as it moves towards closure.

Well, it is. Sorry. And by the way things are going it's going to be a F/SN sort of tragedy. But besides the forced drama, I realized after ep.2 that beato is the one that really carries this story. If she's not antagonistic, and she's obviosuly forcing herself, then all of the strong elements of the story up until then start to get watered down, or beato takes a backseat to fill-in bad guys, and yeah, it starts to get weak and watered-down until all we're left with is some sort of Saber departure scene. Weak sauce end to something that started so strong.
