KoG and newfags killed /a/.
Seriously, KoG was the one that released a sagebombing script that got widely circulated. In turn it made /a/ inhabitable and posting limits were enforced.
Far worse than anything Russia has done.

So let me get this straight, you've succeeded at creating a script that swaps the Japanese text with English text for the Idolm@ster game.

Which Idolm@ster game, the one for X-box or the one for PSP?

PSP, see the jagged lines.
And it's the raw japanese text. Not translated or anything.

This is a dumb question, but is there any way you could crack the Xbox 360 version?

>> No.2310074

>>2310067
Probably, seeing as you can extract stuff from it, but then you would need a completely cracked Xbox 360 to play it. And that would mean reburning a damn DVD each time you make any changes.

Good job tripbro. Now go and gather some translators. I'm surprised no one on /jp/ has said they'd be willing to translate it. I guess no one on /jp/ knows how to translate... (translating a 12 page /h/ doujin doesn't count).

In all seriousness, nothing that Russian Federation ever did to /a/ topped what /a/ did to itself both before and after the split.

And an Idolm@sters translation is hugely awesome, but it would never happen, I don't think.

>> No.2310737,1 [INTERNAL]

So basically:

We need to track down the images used for menus and stuff. There aren't really that many, are they?
The mails are pretty much ready to be translated, but there's a shitload of them and I don't think they're very relevant to the gameplay, are they?
Then there's the main scripts, which need some better formatting (and organizing?) before we start dumping them on TL Wiki or whatever.

>> No.2310737,2 [INTERNAL]

How organized do you expect scripts to be?
Right now I have them this form:

Names:
Producer
Some other girl
Boss

# Producer
Finally I blah blah
blah blah
# Producer
Who might
you be?
!Choice 1: Who are you?
!Choice 2: I'll call the police.
!Choice 3: Do you believe in fate?
# Producer
Who might
you be?
# Producer
She seems fishy, I'm
going to call police.
# Producer
Do you
believe in fate?
# Some other girl
Blah
blah blah
# Producer
blah
blah

No flow control, just lines of text one after another. I also don't know in which order scripts are executed.
