Mysterious Mountain sounds better in it's original game music, Wind God Girl sounds better when played with real instruments.

Either way, both are considered to be among some of the best themes in the series and both fit their respective games perfectly. As someone previously said, Wind God Girl fits Aya's personality as a reporter and the light hearted mood of PoFV, Mysterious Mountain feels a little more serious with Aya on official business for the Tengu and reflects the games Autumn theme excellently.

Is Aya really a wind god? I know she has wind powers, but I also know that she's supposed to be a crow demon or some shit like that.

It seems like the word "god" in japanese mythology is more like a title that you can earn than a description of what you are.

Part of it is that (anyone who gets really good at something might be called the 'god' of it - but then again, that's true here, too - have you ever heard someone referred to as the 'god' of a particular game?).

Part of it is also that 'god' has a different connotation in Japan. Even relatively minor spirits can be the 'god' of a region or aspect or something.
