Lonely. What an odd feeling to have. I guess I never really paid attention to it, given most people see me as odd anyway for being an adult who still enjoys cartoons.

I could care less what they think, so this doesn't make me feel lonely. I enjoy anime. They're the ones losing out by choice. Let them.

The internet has opened an entire world of people for me to chat with, but this can also have it's own downside.

I debated for a long time to join this site. Mostly because there's a notion of the continuing bickering about anime just in itself.

I may scream out "Shakugan no Shana is the best anime ever!!" and instantly will see 50 replies on why it's not. As if these people's opinions would make a difference to me.

All these types of replies do is alienate a possible conversationalist about anime in general. We all share the same enjoyment, so why trash?

Makes no sense to me.

I've reviewed plenty of threads on this site in the past 2 weeks I've been coming here (signed up recently), and it seems okay. I know who to avoid. Who I want to chat with. What I want to reply to.

So to feel lonely is out of the question. There's always someone willing to speak with me regarding my opinions while listening to theirs.
