i started watching more 実況プレイ lately
ive watched 5 hours worth of lets plays the past few days and caught ～15 misreadings of words by japanese gamers, about 1/4 of those that they never re-read and corrected themselves
for example one gamer read 見習う instead of 見直す and didn't even correct themselves. so apparently it happens with easy words like those too.

over 1000 cards now in my anime card deck. not sure if there is any benefit yet tbqh. i guess i dislike doing reviews less but im still only at 70-100 reviews per day max so it might just be due to that. retention rate is more or less the same as with standard vocab cards but im used to making cards like this and its hard to break habits so i'll continue.

Is anyone taking Japanese at university? I've just finished my business degree and now been offered a scholarship to do a 1-year diploma in languages.
