I have a potential problem, /fumo/!

I am using Big in Japan to get my Tenshi to me, using my apartment address. However, my PayPal shipping address is my family's house I don't often visit. When I paid for shipping through PayPal, it had that house as the address! Will the Fumo go to the address I linked my account to with BiJ? Or will it go to the house?
All the payments through Gift and BiJ have all gone through, so I'm getting my Tenshi, but I just don't want my family to get her first.

how long does it usually take for ttenso to process shipped items and present the owner with a pay settlement for the shipment?
the sagawa tracking number said the package has been delivered but the last stop it made was at one of their shipping centers which is 20 minutes away from my forwarder so i dont know if it got there alright and that was just the last place it was shipped from or if its sitting in their storage

Shou would have no chance of becoming a fumo, as she is a character with such a low popularity. Im sure you can at least make shou's hair by removing Ran's ears, and adding black accents to her hair with black felt and fabric glue. The clothes seem hard, but you can probably make the "belt" ish thing by using black suede thonging and a big jump ring. Im sure Yuugi anon can give advice on how to make clothes, as he made multiple yuugis with clothes made from scratch.

That I can! Cause not only have I made Yuugi clothes, but Parsee and Keine clothes. For materials, suede, as that anon said, can work, I prefer a nice knit fabric myself, as that tends to be very sturdy overall, and depending on where you are, you may be able to get a tiger print variant of some knit fabric, which will allow you to easily make the waistcoat. Really for just a general process of what you should do, you should first make a long sleeved undershirt in white, and an orange skirt. then you layer on top your sleeveless red vest with a nice bottom trim, then you add on the tigerprint waistcoat, bow, and ring. I can definitely go into greater detail as to what you would need to do for each piece if you want. Also note, you do not need a sewing machine at all, it helps, from what ive seen, but i myself have never used one.
Also for the spear and lantern, you could try to make it out of clay, or, if you want something premade, you could go on somewhere like etsy and look for garden gnome/doll accessories, while not soft, they could very well fit what youd be looking for.
And as for a custom base, a ran could work, but due to the amount of structural changes with regards to the tails and ears, i would dissuade you from doing such. Instead, I would suggest getting a fumo like Yuuka, or Aya, removing the hair and copying the patterns, thereby allowing you to replace the hair with a nice blizzard fleece, or minky, in a nice blonde, adding black accents. In fact, thats one reason why I suggest Aya. While I havent tested such a thing myself, you could effectively make the black accents for Shou, by using the scalp of Aya. In that, when you'd create your hair pieces, you leave small, but noticeable, holes within the hair, that show off the black scalp.

Thanks Yuugianon. I have zero experience with sewing, so I'll have to work on the basics first before I make an attempt. I have probably a year or two to practice before I can buy another fumo, so I have plenty of time to learn. I'm just scared of sharp objects and getting stabbed with a needle.

The squid is soft, but she has what I think is a plastic tube going from her butt up into her head. It is kinda strange, but doesn't really affect cuddles. Her squidicle hair is pose-able for pictures and can get a little crazy at times as well, but is still pretty soft.

The one custom fumo maker that I know of recently raised their prices for all incoming commissions, if you were to commission them like 6 months ago it wouldve been like 70-100 dollars depending on the complexity. now due to the sheer amount of orders they get its 120-150 or so. Hello, Okuu anon here! I am very sorry, but I don't think I am ready to make fumo commissions for others. Theres a lot of work put into replicating the fumo sized shirt, skirt etc. and honestly I think I am not ready at all turning it into a career. This custom is also my first, too so it looks amateurish compared to more experienced fumo makers' works. A fumo itself is also expensive too, so you've got to take that into account too... I would love to give others the love and softness of okuu, but its too difficult of a task to take commissions at the moment. Once again, I am very sorry.

I made her bow by sewing two rectangles together, good soft side facing together and sewing it (not forgetting the zigzags on the edge), and leaving a small gap. Then i flipped it inside out using a chopstick, which leaves the good side outwards. Then, i put stuffing from daiso inside the bow and sewn the gap shut. I repeated the same step for the bottom part of the bow, and sewn the top and bottom part of the bow together to make one big bow. Then i got a small piece of fabric and covered the ugly sewn part to make the 'knot' and the ribbon is done! I hope i explained it well.

Not that anon, but have you looked into making one yourself? It's the sort of thing that doesn't require any knowledge going into, just look up some basic tutorials and have at it. In my opinion it's much more fulfilling than paying someone else to do it, and if you run into any hurdles there are plenty of anons here who'd be happy to lend some advice. also, i'm pretty sure the only person that does commissions is booked out til like mid-2021

Hello! Okuu anon here. I know a more experienced fumo maker who does custom fumos from scratch, its called Annas Handmade on Facebook. However, like the anon above me said, her queue extends into mid 2021. I strongly suggest making your own fumo, making my okuu made me feel very accomplished and it is a good feeling to have. There is also another fumo maker in /fumo/ here who can give you advice, its Yuugi anon. He made a ton of custom fumos such as 3 yuugis, a parsee, keine etc. He is way more experienced than me who only made one fumo, im sure he can help!

Speaking of Okuu, Okuu's cape and wings are finished! Its smaller than what i thought it would turn out to be, but that's fine as Gift makes features aside from fumo heads pretty small, and it could look more 'official looking'. I just need to make the hand cannon on her arm, and she will be complete!
