Just finished reading this, some random thoughts on this and the new lore it establishes:

Literally rescued by SDM, so perturbed and put off by SDM that he flees. The only other mentions of people at the mansion are Marisa and Reimu (exceptions) and people at parties. It's a guarded mansion with inaccessible areas (such as the library) and it's only truly active at night, when you shouldn't be out and about. It's one of Gensokyo's dangerous places that people do not casually visit.

The artist has better works on their twitter, it's probably not up to the usual standards because it's a free webcomic vs a manga you pay for with a bigger budget.
If there's one good thing to come out of this it's more unique character interactions and character design. All the new outfits are very cute!

I forgot where I read this but a print work mentions how the mansion's staff can participate on the parties. It's fair to assume that most of Remilia's parties are made for the mansion folk and a few youkai, with humans barely visiting because they are scared of her.

It made sense in that context because being a youkai exterminator (specially one with a "shoot first, ask questions never" attitude) who already broke into the mansion in the past makes her a prime suspect. In Orin's case it could be due to Reimu not being as close to the former hell youkai, that or Orin trying to trick her with accusatory implications.

Spellcard duels require both parties accepting the challenge. There is nothing stopping a youkai or a human from breaking the rules besides Reimu splitting their skulls.

反則 can mean cheating, against the rules, irregular, etc.. I'm mostly against the word "cheating" because it implies that there's some sort of game being played here. You wouldn't call someone jaywalking "cheating", and yet that's 反則.

It's going to be awkward when a few chapters later on we discover that the subtitle is meant to imply that Satori is going to go and "break some rules" to get to the bottom of this case, being the bad girl in a good cop bad cop kind of setup.
