i think the main problem is that with most of the cast being a superficial rip off from the LN series, the story doesn't rip off enough and is just some garbage mishmash from other LNs. as far as routes go mizuki and sayaka are garbage, MC even rapes sayaka for no reason. the other 3 are better but the writing will just walk off a cliff occasionally, i'd say yui's route is probably the best though, her big reveal is great although it comes at the last fucking minute and would have been better hours before

my brother. i do the same so i'll give you some advice, after you complete a route an extra scene gets unlocked in the gallery. i made the mistake of thinking they were just pure h scenes so i saved them all for the end but they're closer to timeskips with an extra h scene so you should read them right after completing the respective route. i at least liked them and thought sakuyas in particular was cute

The OP is still harmless, aside of its glorious 320*240 resolution for no reason. (there's enough space on the CDs to not do that) They use a bunch of really basic effects in this. It's basically all the stuff where teachers told me to never use that shit during school time.

They have the same writer so the style is very similar. I could be wrong since I haven't read them though. Maybe try one of the older ones. They do reference each other and some even have a whole glossary of terms explaining the setting. Out of the ones I've read Tyrhhia's style felt to be different and more straightforward compared to the rest.

Finished Ashita Deatta Shoujo (only read one character ending though).

This feels so early 00-ish. After the first third or so the plot becomes insanely predictable (in part because it's essentially spoiled by the game itself, and in part because it's the most obvious way things could go) and things just feel like they drag, just so that the entire story gets told in the games last at most 60 minutes. Felt like an info dump to be honest. Problems outside of that are enough there as well. Things like how weirdly side characters were used (especially blondie who probably should've been a little more important), and some things just happening without explanation or reason.

Oh well. They tried. The core idea isn't too bad, if nothing new (especially today), but the execution is wonky at best. As for the character routes, I've not bothered with more than the first one, as they seem to be short and ruin more than they add. Going from killing someone and being splattered with blood to cleaning yourself, random comedy, to confession and sex within 10minutes (without even a scene change, so the corpse is still nearby!) was kinda... interesting. I didn't need that 4 times. Main route/ending is enough.

I'll be reading the second old-ish Kure work as well at some point. But for now I'm thinking of trying Kawarazaki-ke no Ichizoku 2 one more time. I expected something very different from what I got when I tried it first. Not like I expected anything too special, just that it's a story with characters that behave in a somewhat understandable way, them developing alongside a scenario. That's unfortunately not there. Scenes are pulled out of the ass for "shock value" (which fails, because they make no sense and have no foundation), the protagonist's character changes without reason once in a while and more silly things. Hard to take serious, especially no matter how the protag was, it was also kinda shit interestingly.

I found a hookcode on the wiki (/HAN-4:50@1BB63:ism.dll), but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with it. Do I leave out certain parts? Copy pasting the whole thing doesn't seem to work, leaving out the "/" or "/HAN-" or ":ism.dll" doesn't either. I'm using textractor -> "Add Hook" -> "Ok".

I've seen way worse. The worst AnG thing I know was drills endings in the FD. But that's so random, you can laugh about it as well. The rest was okay. Still haven't played AnG2 though.

There are plenty of endings in eroge that completely nullify the entire drama or even route, sometimes even the entire game. One game I quite liked had a true ending which basically made the big theme and dilemma of the game nonsensical, as it was never a question to begin with. A somewhat open "and I'm sure they'll manage to do the rest just fine together" ending is quite alright in comparison. I'd go insane if I let my fun get destroyed by an ending. For example, Japan loves their happy endings so much, they seem to often think a happy ending justifies itself by being happy. Many many stories have been killed from that alone. 3 hour drama arc about separation ending in a "I don't need to go away after all, tehe~" without any buildup, reason or anything is still the harmless variant there.

Sure AnG has crappy routes here and there. (Maid...) But still, I had more fun with it than with a lot of other works. Including the endings.

The whole "no voices in H" is a very moege-ish thing, and those don't have voiced MCs anyway. Most voiced MCs are either in trap protag VNs (where it's part of the idea that they ARE voiced in lewds if they get voiced), or in more story heavy games.
