Most of the characters are like that. A lot of them like Kogasa have way too high voices and they're really unfitting.

I actually liked Kogasa's voice and thought it fit well, but her artwork is horrible. From what I've seen so far a lot of the art in this is just garbage, only a few characters have decent character artwork and that's before even looking at the horrible Live2D variants they get too. The artworks you get from the gacha aren't much better.

There's nothing to discuss unless we get translation but then it'll be nothing much.
You just throw the dice and hope for RNG to win you game by giving enough CBs and win the automatic battle, use the rewards to upgrade your unit, then repeat. It only has slightly more gameplay than Cookie Clicker, while the actual main "thrill" is from the waifu roullete and management if you're into that, like all Gachas.

Summon and home screen dialogue makes it seem like you're some extra character who was just introduced, ala typical bland self-insert MC of every gacha, while all the story content utterly ignores that in favour of focusing only on the established characters. Comparing the two is kinda silly. Fate was a wasteland before FGO while Touhou is already a massive presence that most of its players will already be well aqainted with. The biggest blow to Fate in terms of how it effected it in the grand scheme of things mostly comes from the fact FGO is official. Cannonball is not and Aniplex made sure to make that fact known to its players.

You move around the board with dice, you donate to shrines to gain control of them (and passive CB income every other turn).

There's also battle spots, where you autobattle enemies for a lot of CB and Points.

Each character also has abilities that can be used on a cooldown, there's spots on the board that let you win a talisman with a random ability or to buy specific ones with CB.

Landing on a player will have you dice battle him. Winner can choose to take CB, Point, Symbol, Talisman or make him lose a turn.

Each map has a different objective. I've seen "Gather x CB", "Gather x Symbols/shrines" and "Gather x Points"

Just leveling star 1 to reach lvl cap is taking a long while, but that's because there are no features for easy leveling yet unlike Dx2. Currently you can only gain exp from battle.
Also, your units don't level up automatically. Instead you are given points that you need to distribute yourself to your units.

Can't really say much on the second day. Getting resources seems to take really long, but that was the same for early FEH. Now you can evolve a 4* every week or so in that game.
Still, you need several hundreds of things to evolve a 4* in Touhou and only get a few per game. Don't think you're gonna evolve that much, unless multiplayer gives you 5-10 times as much.

Tewi gives you more bc aka more rewards which means farming faster.
Sagume has the spellcard to rebound negative effect and she plays an important role after chapter 5 where you start to encounter nasty things that totally destroy you.
Theses two seems irreplaceable for pve farming, but I don’t know about pvp since I haven’t play it.

I've played all through the story maps on Normal and I feel very "meh" about it all with the only thing keeping me going being seeing the word "clear" a bunch of times.

I really hope they do something to make either the board game half or the combat half remotely more tactical because there's nothing lamer that trying to RNG my way to the goal while the brainlet AI who should have won 5 turns ago flounders in the exact opposite direction of the objective again.
