That's how I also do it, in addition, I put them back into their original plastic wrapping. I store them almost as they were shipped, just with the bag being cut open.

Newbie here, got an issue with my ona, don't know if it's the ona itself or my lube but here it goes. As far as heating, I just rinse mine with warm/hot water (not too hot that it burns you) inside the ona to heat it up, opening it up slightly with my fingers under a faucet.

Depends on the type of lube and how you use them. Shibari lube is a lot thinner than the Onatsuyu lube and makes less noise in my experience.

Durability is definitely a factor. After about 6 to 7 months the bumps in the back started to fall off but they weren't noticeable in the first place so I didn't really care but I noticed recently after around 9 months that the railings on the side started to get worn down.
