More importantly however, she's just a bad character. As a protagonist, she's a poor viewpoint character and utterly reactive in nature. As a person she's neither cool, capable, or even all that heroic. And considering her role in Gensokyo, even the most favorable read of her personality and understanding of her position still makes her a pretty loathsome person.

At least she's useful in gameplay.

I read and know canon and I actually like reimu if WAHH goes the way i'm thinking it's going, since it actually brought up something I thought ZUN would never touch, which is why the actual shit her entire lineage is so damn powerful. In addition something is seriously bothering me with how Kasen is too Reimu during WAHH, she's probably, except for the last chapter or 2, been the kindest too Reimu, and even fed her when she wanted too fight. What if Reimu is half Oni? It actually explains a lot of her tendencies.
