My favorites are interactive stuff like Utawarerumono and Daiakuji, but I also enjoy visual novels such as Kanon, Clannad and One. Dating with girls isn't my thing, but stories between the main character and other heroines is what hooks me up. As you noticed I prefer Key stuff because I like the relationship between characters, it feels somewhat more natural and it doesn't feel so male-chauvinist, at least that's what I think. Still have to play LB, I heard there's a bit of manservice, I'm interested.

No, I was objecting more to the fact that they are aimed at two completely different markets and therefore the comparison is far from perfect. Yes, I can admit that it's not perfect, but I don't believe it's fair to demand that a comparison is perfect for it to have any validity at all. At very least I believe it can be clearly established that there's a large number of representatives from the female gender who are also guilty of idealizing unrealistic clichés in fiction because it feel convenient to them. I don't think there's a need to establish more than that, so finding out whether it's the same with the female equivalent of a /jp/ browser is not needed.
