I am going to miss the healthy winter air when spring arrives together with the germination of fever-causing bacteria.

We went to the Mojave. A desert. In California.

But Americans have handguns at their waists and shotguns in the trunks of their huge trucks, don't they?

Or is Florida one of the "keep your guns at home, please" states?

>> No.2055930

>>2055907
As of 2009, the state has experienced a drought that began in November 2005, a month after Hurricane Wilma's passage through the state.[27] The previous significant drought occurred in 2000, which was the state's driest year on record.

Hurricanes happen only so often and aquafers last only so long.

>But Americans have handguns at their waists

Typically in a drawer or box somewhere in your home, not carried at all times. Unless it's involved in your job, most public places are a no-weapons zone anyway.

>and shotguns in the trunks of their huge trucks

That's even rarer; shotguns are typically kept in a garage or on a rack, if kept at all.

We follow the way of the gunslinger, love.

Alright.

I don't have any business in the US (other than maybe visiting my cousin and her husband in Las Vegas), so I doubt I'll ever have to shoot alligators or people.

I've shot handguns on some ranges (.22-.45), and it's pretty fun, but I guess I'll leave it at that unless there's a zombie outbreak.

It started snowing outside right now, by the way.

I'd say something about missing winter, but then there wasn't a winter here. There never is.

There's a hot, wet season and a cool, dry season, and that's about it.
No winter. No fall. No spring.

Just summer and some indescribably indeterminate season that can never decide if it's cold or hot from day to day.
