How has Touhou affected your life in the offline world?

I'll get a stage or character theme stuck in my head.

Now when I listen to my iPod I have to make sure it's not too loud when I'm listening to the arrangements. Also, I can't let anyone see my iPod anymore, only about 4 or 5 Touhou bands on there, but I'm not risking it.

>> No.2005847

I've been holed up/trying to find a job ever since I discovered Touhou to the point where it would effect daily life.

So not much change.

It is an infection, though; sometimes I'll mention things to people offhand or show them a particularly good arrangement of a tune and days later I come back to find that they've found and played the games.

Obviously some people are more resistant than others, but it's kinda scary nonetheless.

Instead of arguing with my enemies, I invite them for a cup of tea.

I gave my psp to a friend (female) as she was curious, I had forgot it was full of Touhou arrangements, including some IOSYS moe shit, then I would notice a loud noise coming from my psp, it was Cirno's Perfect Math class. I yelled like a faggot and grabbed the psp, then had to make a long explanation, she never talked to me again.

Same here, except it isn't all exclusively Touhou related material.

I once made the mistake of leaving the shortcut for PCB on my desktop. A friend of mine was over and clicked on it. I was expecting the worst, but she's one of us now. That can be either good or bad, depending on your outlook.

I talk about it once in a while with a friend at college. We don't talk about the memes generated from Touhou, just about the game and how long it took us to 1cc easy or normal. When someone we know or a mutual friend gets close, we stop talking about it.

Thanks, I don't know what I would do if it weren't for this inclusive club.

I still think about the girls from high school sometimes. I had a big crush on a "class president" type girl (although she wasn't actually the class president) and sometimes I wonder what I would say to her if I ever saw her in the supermarket whenever I go back home for vacation.

I think that anyone that comes here at least occasionally should know the reaction they're going to get and should just leave it out of their post since the vast majority of the time it isn't related or necessary to what they're trying to say.
