Is there any other fangame that even comes close to Concealed the Conclusion? The fact that you actually have to get fucking good to beat it, the amazing music, how everything slowly becomes more depressing as the plot goes on. Its so god damn good that I just personally consider it the actual conclusion of Touhou.

The only thing good about CtC is its music. The danmaku aesthetics are tacky and the patterns are nothing special. The art is dated. The "story" reads like a shitty Grimsokyo fanfic a 14 year old came up with. It will not and will never be canon. Its very much a product of the time it came out in. Does this mean it's a bad game? No, not by any means. It's a decent danmakufu fan game and still holds up to this day as one of the best things to come out of it. The "story" fanon Grimsokyo bullshit is the only truly horrendous thing about the game.

The entire plot is that everyone is gonna fucking die because Reimu is waking up from a dream. Yes, that is what you enjoy. The extremely cliche "it was all just a dream" shit. This doesn't even make sense even as a theory. Gensokyo wasn't created by Reimu as a dream, previous Hakurei shrine maidens existed before Reimu was even born. Gensokyo existed before Reimu existed.

It makes no sense. How did Suika survive when Reimu supposedly created everyone and waking up would kill them all? How did Suika literally take fragments of her dream? That's not how her power works. How the hell did Marisa even survive when she's not Suika? Aren't the SDM residents from the outside world? Reimu couldn't have dreamed an enitre new outside world, especially when it's implied in the game that she lives and sleeps in it. Eiki doesn't even live in Gensokyo, how did she disappear when she's not even from that realm? The story is so terrible and is riddled with plot holes. Like I said, it reads like a bad fanfic. That doesn't make the game any less fun though.

Bad game with decent music. Technically a mess.

Didn't even replace the annoying TICKTICKTICKTICK defaults from danmakufu.

RSS, BoSM, FDF and basically every other shooter fangame are better in every way.

Steps all over canon by making everyone but Reimu worthless when Reimu is really quite insignificant as the 13th (or higher) shrine maiden since the barrier was erected in 1885.

The shrine maiden gets changed out like a lightbulb, and her death doesn't affect Gensokyo. Reimu is presumed dead in SSiB and Aya says they'll just have to select a new shrine maiden soon.

The art is DeviantArt tier too. Ok music though.

And really, actually: Suika's power of density control is indeed on at least some level conceptual as she can gather moods as evidence by getting people to not only come together for parties but wholeheartedly join in on them. It would be best to say she can gather and disperse "things", which is understandably broken for an ancient ridiculous oni

Makai is a world separate from Gensokyo in the game too. Alice goes there with Shiki after fighting Marisa. Its likely that the residents from outside of Gensokyo still exist even after it is destroyed.
