I like Reimu because she's so different from other lead female characters. She's not hyper-happy-go-lucky, she's not weak-willed-but-strong-when-it-counts. She's actually kind of a bitch, which makes her closer to a 3D female than most other anime girls

Marisa is a kleptomaniac lacking so much as an ounce of human decency or subtly in her, a thief and impulsive liar Marisa attracts people to her by sheer force of personality despite her many failings.

Sakuya is a moe-moe ditz maido as goes the stereo type concerned with how many spare changes of clothes she has, until she goes Dio Brando vampire hunter on you with a fierce loyalty and vicious personality that contrasts with the kind of girl who opened a window in space to let some air in.

The great thing about Touhou is that everyone is a moe magical girl and a total bitch AT THE SAME TIME. Not one character is purely "Happy go lucky" or "weak but strong where it counts", in fact it breaks most animu/japanese vidya tropes by not having everyone be fueled by the power of friendship.

So yeah, Reimu is awesome in her own way but the attributes you mentioned aren't unique.
