Well it does have a higher resolution grid and more levels of pressure sensitivity, but yeah that wouldnt make much of a difference. A larger drawing are would help though.

But more than that, I'm hoping that a higher-power tablet would be able to overcome the electronic interference that my Graphire is suffering from. Right now I have to draw with quick strokes or else it looks like I'm trying to draw while riding a vehicle with no suspension. As a result I dont have as much line control or precision as I'd like to have :(

Left ear is drawn steadily, right ear is with quick lines.

I have an Intuos3 and I personally believe it was worth the money seeing how point and clicking lineart in Photoshop got on my nerves. If you want something cheaper, go for a Wacom Bamboo if you don't mind having less pressure sensitive strokes.
