For now, good equipments can increase that. Other than that, no matter what race you picked, the best course of action is to get a good party of pets. In your case, a nurse with custom AI(so that she only heals allies), would do wonders. And slaves/pets can be bought at the slave trader in Derphy.

Bahahaha I died again. Even with experience you will do stupid shit. I was attempting to beat act 1 in 20 hours, and was close. Beat the three main bosses, and was on the way to Zeome unhindered (30F) just after 21 hrs. However I had neglected paralysis resistance, and got immediately stunlocked and killed by a group of skeleton magicians after descending the stairs. Despite high magic res, not being able to do anything at all while pelted by arrows that reapplied it spelled my end. Basically wizard of Elea 2 or like an early cockatrice that comes in groups, these spooks are a deadly new addition since the last time I went through act 1. Always cover your ailment resists!

He won't target you (Although you can take collateral damage) so I would just let him loose, watch him kill everyone and pick up all the freebies that dropped. Like for example look at the Fetter of Earth from Opatos, reducing your speed by over 1300 is ridiculously shitty, but because you're so slow time passes by extremely quickly, making it extremely useful for grinding autistically to the max.

It's probably original. This custom body and its variations, recognizable by the base and face, were originally made by ''Mr Jin/Jinno'', who used to have a blog with his sprites on blog goo ne dot jp, but at some point (last year?) deleted it. His excellent bodies became widely used and edited, can be found in the big mod pastebins, and have formed the base for many sprites anons have made as well. The guy basically laid the groundwork for a lot of stuff others later made, such as the qt snails from last thread (used modified torso and head).

Elona + 1-75 added a new feature to stack item with the I key.
If you use this feature it at least messes up the value of allmost all fish foods.
It doesn't matter if you do it to the raw fish or the cooked food, both cases affect the value.
The picture shows my character selling fish food to a vendor, before and after I stacked the items with the I key.
The stacking severly lowered the value of some dishes.
I only tested this with fish, so I don't know if it effects other food.

I've seen a lot of people beat Zeome somewhere between lv 30-60 with attributes somewhere around 60-120. Having fire, darkness, chaos, perhaps magic and immunities to confuse and blind should make doing the main story related dungeons and bosses easier.

I'm on my way in doing the main story myself and beating Act 1 soon. Looks like I'll be around lv 40 when I'm done. Have 6 magic vendors invested to shop level 100, a stash of potential/cure corruption potions, almost every good mutation, 9 farms, a museum, a house, and a shop. Feel like I'm in a pretty good place or definitely near it to start Act 2 so maybe aim for those things too?

I know this is bait. But on the off chance someone actually believes it I am gonna point some things out. You are trying to say that cutting off 2 minutes of time for certain very specific action you could already do anyway is a cheat. Then you go on to justify your position by saying that simply making certain items easier to see in a long list is the same as spawning in items into the game.
They don't even compare. Spawning in a super lure for example gives it too you right now, while hilighting it makes it so that you just notice the thing possibly 3 or 100 hours into your game since it randomly spawns and some people have horrible luck IRL. Elona is a very repetitive game. If you're cutting off 2 minutes on one action over time it will add up tremendously each time you perform that action. yes, you can have the dodge/resists carry you through act I and youll be fine. but with the post 1 content added, things start scaling fast, which turns out horrendously for the fairy due to its reliance on dodge, which gets almost entirely negated by crits.
furthermore, along with the snail, its the only race with an inherent weakness that you can never remove, and youll be sad about that 1s limit later since it locks out decent ranged and 2h options, as well as adding the hero cheese fiary scroll grind.
if you're new, go one of the human races (elea/juere/eulderna/yerles) to start. they aren't super specialized and dont have any debilitating weaknesses

Fairy race has too many drawbacks for what it gives. The resists are great but can be made up for in gear by any non-Fairy character. The weight restriction of the race stays with you forever.
For a newbie friendly race, go for any of the balanced races. Elea and Eulderna are my favorites. Class doesn't really matter and can be changed later with a business card.
I generally prefer to go with Eulderna gunner and get pickpocket as the extra starting skill so I get all the skills taught by the thieves' guild right away and never have to waste time trying to get in there to learn the skills.

For someone just starting out, Yerles Gunner and Dwarf Warrior are both good options for learning the game. Yerles Gunner has good ranged power and Dwarf Warrior has good melee power without being too specialized like a Golem Warrior. Any other class/race combo should work too, just avoid the less human races like goblin, lich, fairy, golem, and mutant until you are more used to the game. Tourist is a joke class, don't use it for your first character. Pianist and Farmer are not beginner-friendly classes, but they have a niche that you'll become aware of once you learn the game.
Fairy isn't bad, but it's very limited. It's intended for magic and comes with very high resistances to elements. The main drawbacks of fairies are their terrible life stat and their racial feat that prevents them from using equipment heavier than 1s.

I have only seen others play Mordor, it seems practically the same in a lot of aspects. Demise has a large 3D view with blocky NPCs and fancy UI as opposed to tiny windows, you'll be slowly grinding your way down, trawling for stat tomes and rare creatures, getting fucked up and sending characters to pick up the corpses/waiting for rescue the same as Mordor. There's random quests that are sometimes impossible to do, and you can deal with aging using potions of youth and get resists from the witch. Portraits are pretty shitty so make your own like pic related. It got a big update/rerelease with fixes and more content, but I never tried it. Demise was pretty addicting, but I stopped playing midway through the dungeon and never got around to returning to it.

Ah yeah same old semi-real time combat with turns passing every second or so, however just like in Mordor you can pause combat with a button press to choose spells at your leisure. Warriors on the other hand don't really do much besides swinging so go figure. Exp granted on kill is still there, however you want to train every character in multiple guilds and make them combat-able anyway so that ends up not being much of a problem. Basically even your weakest mage will be cutting down the local fauna in swathes. It's less tactical combat for individual encounters and more being worn down and getting lost/trapped in the dungeon itself. Few interesting items on the first floor seems pretty standard to me, to get the good shit you have to take a risk and go deep. I'd say give it a try, but if this stuff completely kills your enjoyment the game might just not be your cup of tea

You can still do it. It may not be optimal, but you can power through anything in this game. It depends on whether you value RP or stats more. Loads of players crush it with sub-optimal builds. Any non-unique gear under {Godly} quality can be changed with change material scrolls to dragonscale or adamantium for excellent DV/PV (use material kit for godly and living), and a craft repair kit can increase the DV/PV even further. Also equip update from the pot of fusion can improve the equipment *type*, retaining the stats such as resists but giving you even better dice.

So for example a robe can be changed step by step to a bulletproof jacket, go from cloth to adamantium with a number of change material scrolls, and finally get the maximal dice possible by using a craft repair kit. I've trained my charisma by performing, earned a lot of money too. I invested a good amount of skill points (25-50) as well as platinum coins into performance before I was able to earn at Party Time! quests. If you, during bad weather, re-roll the shelter room until the book there is Performer, and steal it, you can go to Sister Mansion and read the book there without "you are bored" messages during snow, and it's almost always snow there. This way you can get high enough performer skill without spending points.

Mission accomplished lads. Now unfortunately, Very old Wife died, being overconfident in her old age and subsequently getting boned by skeletons. The next character however was more prudent. Passing the finish line in 19h32m, I met my goal of <20h.

The early game consisted of grinding like mad to invest and get the gear to safely gather materials, in order to craft and sell goods en masse for hundreds of thousands. Traveling back and forth trading and amassing gain material scrolls quickly allowed profits to soar. I didn't get a shop this time, saving me a lot of time, as recuperating the 200k+ investment (including expansions) would take too long as shops always take a while to build steam.

I managed to snag Gwen too by investing in general vendors for gifts to give to her, and getting an astral pen from a well wish. Then I blew through everything to upgrade everybody's gear and dove down. You guys can probably do it faster and with better stats/profits, but I'm pretty satisfied.

The best material for damage is Ether, but it has lower accuracy. Rubynus has the highest accuracy but low damage (For superior materials, it still beats anything not superior). Dragon Scale is a mix of both.

For Armor Rubynus is probably your best choice on a DV character, because while it's not the highest, it's still very good (Only 4 DV away from the best DV material, Dawn cloth) but it also has life on it and decent PV. For PV Adamantium is by far the strongest.

Of course, this is all assuming you don't care about weight or want the secondary bonuses on other gear.

I never checked, but in my experience they just keep throwing salt until you die or escape, so I think it is probably just a special skill. You can however, move cleaners. When an NPC dies, you can resurrect it like one of your pets. Because of some quirk in the game engine, it will now always spawn on the tile you resurrected it too. I just move them to some part of town I never need to visit. Later in the game few new towns have cleaners to begin with, and I've not seen any in Lost Irva.

I'm not sure the latter is worth it, since 2H loses effectiveness if a weapon is too heavy. 2Handed gives a damage boost, hit rate boost, and damage multiplier boost. I'm not sure it's worth losing some of that to do 2.5x crit damage.

Is your Create Wall insanely low compared to Create Door or something? I found it much better to use Create Wall to fuck off a certain character in an edge of town(like Loyter when i was practicing performing) since they can't just open the doors and leave.
On the door note, it sucks that you can't close and lock doors based on your lockpicking to make it difficult for NPCs to open or bash.

I just don't want to rebuild a new wall, corralling cleaners inside, every month. Each time dodging salt, and using sleeping potions. I did it once, and only once, with doors. The doors are mostly just to break line of sight and remind me the cleaners still exist, but I've never seen them open one. They sit where I put them and haven't bothered me in hundreds of hours. NPCs only really wander around early game, later when your speed is up, they barely have a chance to move.

Don't invest in the armour shop, invest in magic shops to obtain potions of potential. Best gear you'll get it from just grabbing what you can from the puppy cave or low level dungeon. Look for resists more than dv/pv really. Green tea and cure potions will cure poison. The mozzies are a fucking pain at the start I just let my pets kill em while I hang back.

Golem if you are ok with riding until act 2, it is the best loss race mechanically without a contest.
Any other race if not, but avoid fairies and snails.

I've used it a lot. It's more restrictive with crafting time but you can make and change every sort of equipment in the game, stardust comes easy and because you got christmas cakes now you no longer have to wait for a lucky day. For money you want cooking since the double dishes change.

How do I get to eat food made by my pet? I used gene engineering to grant it cooking, go to sleep with him present somewhere around me at 9-12p.m. Then when I wake up nothing really happens, does he need a cooking tool or something? It doesn't need a tool. As long as relationship is actually high enough, it has cooking, and you wake up between 4-9am, you should get breakfast. If you wake up later though, you won't get any. It's possible to oversleep since the hours you sleep are random and can go up to 12.

Void enemies have always been an exception, you can't get the join-on-defeat NPCs from there either. But to make sure for the pen you'd have to test it out. Usual method of penning involves gifting a couple gifts to get up to friend level, and giving crafted tokens of friendship from then on until soul mate status (easier to acquire and bigger relationship bonus but they'll only accept the tokens from friend level onwards). Yes, enemies accept gifts and thank you with a heart over their head while continuing to beat your ass.
