Not that anon but from what I've remember, Marisa mentions in her ending that she was lucky to have survived LoLK. Plenty people speculate since the LoLK 2hus were from outside Gensokyo, they could be using true killing danmaku. Using Eirin's drug could make the battles much more safer since they can learn from their mistakes when they "die". Though, Marisa could be exagerating. After all, it's not everyday you fight an empowered hell fairy (that claims that she's stronger than a Kishin), THE goddess of hell and the embodiment of hatred. Looking back, LoLK has some of the most dangerous and powerful characters in the series, at least for me.
