Everyone who thinks time is a dimension should realize that's only a metaphor for time as an area to move through.

It is not a spacial direction. Moving through a fourth spatial dimension would make you appear as a layered 3-dimensional object appearing and disappearing as it moves through our universe.
Think of seeing a 3D cone moving through a 2D universe.
First, they'd see a circle. Then that circle would shrink, slowly until it hits a point and would vanish.
We'd see a cone that would fold in on itself until it vanishes for a 4D cone moving through 3D.

Usual Descartian answer would be that first, if you are able of thought enough to question your own existence, you are bound to have an existence, maybe it isn't physical, and indeed, following his theory, the thinking substance is the only one which can be proven as the senses can be misleading.
One the subject of the existence of other people, another sensible argument would be that, if your thought proves that you exist, if other people were able to think, they most certainly would exist too, right ?
Now our problem would be how could you know if someone has thoughts?
A possible answer to this dilemma can be found in language, be it oral or symbolic, it is indeed a proof of thought, as it has been discussed often by many philosophers.
Therefore, if you have sensible proof of your own existence ( you are thinking), and you know that something else is thinking too ( the person writing this might be thinking) then, you know that you exist and that you are not alone.
Another problem would be if this language that I am using right now was but an illusion of your senses, effectively making my existence uncertain.
This problem, however, has not yet been fully adressed, but you can however be certain of your existence, okay .
