Hey Anons, I was wondering if anybody here knew the history of systemspace.
I came across it in a video and have a loose idea of what's going on, but don't really get it.

I remember when this started in ¿/r9k/?, I don't remember the board but I'm sure it was in 4chan.
It's just another 2deep4you lain roleplaying site, made by a bored anon.
You have to register yourself if you want to be saved from the universe reset or something like that, irc you had to summit a drawning made by yourself to register in the site.
the scanlines effects are cool.

I registered, but gradually lost interst around july or so. Later I found that the site died and the community went to lainchan, so I kinda forgot about it.

The site was one of the best things that came from it.

Same here. The site was cool and the lore was really interesting. I tried joining the discord everyone was more interested in their faggot community than actually talking about the project, so I gave up on it pretty fast. Not surprised it died, but it was sort of fun to think about for a few days at least.

Nah, lain was just the imagery. It was some weeb suicide cult kind of, I forgot the details but the basic premise was that everything existed as data in some bigger thing, and universes are called "systems", and ours was supposedly about to be deleted. If you signed up to system space, when you died your soul would be reborn in a cool anime world where you keep your memories.
