Why must life be so miserable?
Is there anything else to it?
Surely, after all of this misery, of this suffering, sorrow, anger, emptiness, sin, vice and violence; surely, I beg, there must be something else?
Something good?

I'm convinced our minds aren't made for immortality. It would be only natural to eventually just want to die out of boredom.

Our mental strength its not just our intelligence, but our ability to recognize patterns. The more we expose ourselves to a certain stimulus, the better we deal with it.

We get used to everything, even to our misery.
Enui is fucking real niggas.

What enjoyment or happiness if you can literally do nothing, because that is ALL you can do, no matter how much knowledge you have.
And when you can do something, it is already too late and you have nothing left to aim for as every opportunity is shot and already decaying right before you.

A cage is still a cage, even if it is guided. Even if we could create our own a material paradise, /jp/sies all, we would still grow bored of a lack of conflict. I think this is why, speaking for the Toho fans on /jp/, Gensokyo is so important for us. It represents a sort of transcendent, ultimate, nigh unreachable high-standard, tailored to our desires, attained and maintaned through endless conflict and adventure, at least as presented through the games. A sort of Vahalla but with cute girls-- never to become that cage, but forever ideal, even if we are apart from it by its fictitiousness. I think this is perhaps why the "brb gensokyo :_: meme strikes so many cords-- Gensokyo has become in the mind of the /jp/sy an ultimate marriage of perfection, eternity, and strife as it exists within that perfection and eternity. That one might privilege it as a place of transcendence after the "brb", fills me we hope that we have created something more than base escapism here.
If our veins are the roads to freedom, I hope they flow to the Hakurei shrine-- that we might never be lost to each other.

To kill myself, people used to do that because of the honor lost and to try to recover it, but thats not my case because thats also considered a sin, even if there is nothing on the other side then I will try to be curious about it and let someone else do it for me, I would die and the world isn't going to care, this post will be drowned and forgotten, over 177,682,11 posts that no one has ever remembered, that insignificant is my existence, less than a piece of sand on the sea, and on the universe worth nothing, millions on years on the world and we are on the "2017" of something, even on Japan and other parts of the world with all the traditions and own cultures they follow this "time" for no reason

I got such massive depression that I stopped being depressed because it meant nothing, I became empty, Im just someone unknown passing time expecting to die trying to save someone or on a random accident

no.

when you splatter your self on the train. you delay tens of thousands of people on that line. As they have to shut down the rail line until the investigate and clean up.

be a conscientious sudoku player. make sure your death doesn't burden others.

How can it be rude?
People ruined my life.
So it follows ruining one of these people's days is the least I can do to retribute the favor.

Remember, jumping from over 10 floors has a much higher success ratio than jumping in front of a train AND you get the opportunity to not only inconvenience a large amount of people and janitors, but also to potentially take someone with you to Gensokyo to be your sidekick by falling on top of them.

It's way better!

Except suicide by jump is scary as shit. There's a reason why less than 1% of suiciders in America are jumpers, despite there being famous tall skyscrapers, bridges and cliffs basically every corner.

To be honest I just wanted to make the sidekick joke. Here's some legit stats if you're actually interested, but unfortunately it doesn't include sudoku. I'd bet that if you actually do it right and have the partner to straight up fucking decapitate you at the end, that's as close to 100% chance as you can get.

(notice the percentage of jumping is brought down considerably by retards that jump from low floors, but to be fair there are also people that mess up jumping in front of trains by doing it when they're stopping)

You don't push the trigger and then cease existing. Your brain will feel being blasted to shreds, the number is only low because that won't last very long.

To be honest I don't know, the study only says it was "rated by forensic pathologists".

I'll add another little curiosity bit though:
>In the study, there were significant differences between the methods chosen by females and males, with males choosing the most lethal and quickest methods, and females selecting methods varying in lethality, duration, and agony.
