Between her busy idol schedule, "niichan's" paperwork and other duties, and Ami's inseparability from her twin sister, Mami and "niichan" haven't been able to find enough privacy to take their relationship beyond covert kisses backstage. So Mami is still a "good girl". Technically. So far.

Totally offtopic, but the other day, for nostalgic purposes, I was watching some episodes of the original 1980s Transformers cartoon on moontube, and I lolled at numerous scenes of the Decepticons giving flagrant Nazi salutes. In the Japanese dub they even say "Heil Galvatron" (pronounced the German way)

I never noticed that when I was a kid in 1986. I wonder if they could get away with that in a kids' show on American TV nowadays... I almost miss the '80s.

I agree with you... on general principle. But in the case of the Futami twins, their entire schtick is that they look and act so alike that they can perform as a single idol--under Ami's name. So the thought of the "backup twin" Mami having just one secret of her own, that she doesn't have to share with Ami, tickles my nutbladder.
