Hello guys!

I wanted to start a General Thread for an Idol Group that I think needs more recognition for their abilities and good music!

I'm also hoping to find more fans of them as well!

This group seems decently big in Japan but I haven't seen anyone really talk about them in /jp/ or anywhere for that matter otherwise.

Its pretty disappointing because they seem to WANT to expand outside of Japan(their MVs are all translated into English) and they put out some great fun music.

I really think they're a great group and Ruka and Nanase as the lead vocalists is very good as well.

I was hoping to find more fans of this group and to maybe also help them gain new fans by having others check them out too!

Let me know what you think!

I love these guys but I got bullied in /alt/ so I've no one to talk to.

>> No.17148965 [DELETED]

>>17148458
Yeah they're bullying me in there too.

I don't know why they're hardly talked about.

>> No.17148973 [DELETED]

Why is /alt/ so fucking edgy? They just want to attack anyone for any reason, and they even bring drama from outside 4chan here, they doxx other idol fans and use /jp/ as a platform to bully people.

>>17148973
All of the idol generals are full of bitchy little drama queens. They're a cancer that needs to be purged.

>> No.17148992

I watched kono yubi tomare! And these girls and argerme(?) were pretty interesting.
Now that idoling and berryz are dead and c-ute is going to disband, i might start following this group.

I am so glad I found them. I happened to just be adding random idols to a playlist that I hadn't heard of and then watched the 2 hour playlist and them and this group 'Rock A Japonica' were the two groups that caught my attention.

I really enjoy their music, its fun and they honestly have some great beats for an idol group. Most of it is hype and not very slow or boring at all.

>>17148973
I don't know man. I was trying to find a place to post this group and they didn't take it very well. I wasn't sure if this would be considered an 'alt' idol group so I figured I'd make a general thread and see how it goes.

>>17148989
Agreed but lets keep this one drama free as much as we can.

Watched the first two and it felt like they were about 10min each. Yeesh...

Yeah I wonder what the 'full' version is, considering the album version of the song is the same length...

Not cute enough for me.

I know little about this group but some songs are nice. Hazuki the cutest.

>>17148458
>>17148965
I thought they were discussed there. Wtf, probably not alt enough.

>>17148973
/alt/ is really bad. It's just nasty shitposting in there. They get really weird with their idols, too. Like they're very disrespectful and gross.

The H!P, AKB & BMSG threads are a mix of old and new. It's sad because the handful of idol fans we used to have were mostly pretty laid back but when autistic faggots from H!O and reddit migrated to this site all was lost.

Okay, so let's just resolve to be nice to one another and try to keep the spirit in here!

>> No.17150832 [DELETED]

>>17150487
Agreed.

I wasn't even sure if this group fell under /alt/ to be honest.

My impression of /alt/ idols was that it had to be some 'spin' on idol music in a weird/unusual way. And I think a lot of Wa-suta's music is pretty normal in terms of 'idol' music.

So that's another reason why I made a general for them.

>> No.17150836

>>17149782
Fair enough. Ruka(pink) and Hazuki(yellow) are really cute to me, but the others aren't very cute in my opinion.

Wow glad to see this general thread is getting a tiny pit of interaction!

I was half-expecting it to just die and I'd be left back at square one with not finding other fans of the group!

>>17150832
I think you're right but I've seen middle-of-the-road idol groups with no gimmicks discussed in there - not much, though. I don't think there was any real criteria for units discussed beyond them being an alternative to the other groups that have generals on /jp/.

>> No.17151248 [DELETED]

>>17150884
Ah. Yeah I took the word alternative in the musical sense. But you're probably right and they probably mean that its just an alternative to the bigger/popular groups on /jp/.

>> No.17152480 [DELETED]

>>17150487
I wonder why they're so nasty. I guess they just are angry about people telling them their music taste is weird and shitty cause they like these alt idols who can't sing and have really weird music.

>> No.17152521 [DELETED]

>>17151248
>>17150884
some have been trying to get the word alternative out of those threads and make them refer to the more unknown groups such as waasuta.

>> No.17152533 [DELETED]

>>17152480
/alt/ has devolved into a weird mix of people who hang around on the same discords etc. and a handful of randoms. There is a weird culture behind it, it can be intimidating towards a newer user.

>> No.17152809 [DELETED]

>>17152533
>it can be intimidating towards a newer user.
Yes, it is a bit intimidating when you have a bunch of smooth-brained autist pedophiles LARPing as Japanese citizens and attacking each other/you seemingly at random and for no good reason. All day... The closest thing to discussion that goes on revolves around which idol's armpits smell the worst and which ones need to develop eating disorders because they're getting fat.

It's lit.

There are cultures in prison and lunatic asylums but I don't want a microcosm of those communities on this board, either.

>> No.17152817 [DELETED]

>>17152521
It's not the idols. The idols are fine (I guess).

It's the posters, man. The fucking posters are shit.

>> No.17152834 [DELETED]

>>17152480
Nah, it's in their nature. You don't get like that just because your music taste is shit.

I have a theory that most of them are in the midst of some form of hormone therapy.

How is their livestream? I've never checked it out.

>> No.17152962

>>17152896
I checked it out yesterday for the first time. Its pretty basic unfortunately. I wish they'd plan fun little games to do and stuff.

They did do a tiny game yesterday and Ruka lost and she had to do a rap.

Someone uploads them to youtube in kinda bad quality(its much better live):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiToSkNWKnI

There is yesterday episode.

>> No.17153006

>>17152962
Cool. Well, it's a shame that the streams haven't been more lively but I imagine it'll still be fun to watch in real time.

I wanna see Ruka rap. I'm gonna go do that right now. Thank you.

>> No.17154630

>>17153006
Yeah I mean I'm sure its better for people who understand Japanese because they seem to be talking/interacting with the chat.

Its just for me I've watched other idols and they usually have fun games they play on each 'episode' of their live show. So I was a tiny bit disappointed that it wasn't like that. But other than that it seems fun at least.
