What feature do you want the most?

What would be a reasonable price range?

Would you buy it even if it only supports Japanese?

>> No.16876470

Even as someone that is poor I would consider buying it if it was a hologram of my waifu.

>> No.16876483

either no one buys it, or it will get modded so that people can have their waifu text them, chat with them, welcome them away and home, and wish them goodnight.

That sounds Godlike. And very sad. But I'm already sad, so this is perfect for me!
I wouldn't want anyone to know, though. And I'd have to get a job to afford her, plus I wouldn't want to disappoint her by being a worthless NEET.

>> No.16882808

I've been unable to sleep, and fantasizing about her for the past two hours while trying not to browse 4chan.

If I could use my own waifu I'd definitely get one. Although my life is boring and uneventful and the most she'd ever do is say good morning and good night. I'm okay with that though

>> No.16883101

I'd buy one if it cost 800 dollars or so and could respond in English.

>> No.16883283

>>16876404
would buy one if it actually was 3D -- eg, you could physically look around it and see her from different angles
the other important thing is how expansive the dialogue tree is (so, it'd need to be in English for me), that phone message thing is neat

also, that video is so fucking depressing that I can't stop laughing
like, you can hear how dead inside he is

>Would you buy this 2500$ hologram robot?
no

>What feature do you want the most?
I'd like a "girlfriend in a parallel world" sort of thing where it doesn't feel like the only thing she does is wait for me

basically something like Ciel nosurge but without the boring story

>What would be a reasonable price range?
as long as the price is proportional to its complexity, I would have no spending limit

>Would you buy it even if it only supports Japanese?
I wouldn't buy it if it supported any second language; it's a sign of unfocused vision

If I could modify it somehow and import my anime girlfriends appearance, and had some learning capability along the line of an advanced chatbot... Err... Maybe some generic content updates that can work with personality profiles that I can edit.

Tldr: yes. Mods.

I want that shit so bad. I don't care what it costs. I'll take a fucking loan if I have to. Only one damn problem. I can't read Kanji too well so the text messages might be an issue. So that's a bit of a dealbreaker sadly.
I would be 100% happy with my life if I had her by my side.

Subs ruined the video.

>> No.16900030

I'm incapable of conceptualizing a relationship (with people, fictional characters, or virtual entities) due to a massive inferiority complex so I would be unlikely to ever buy one of these.

I suppose if one of them fell out of the sky and into my life I'd probably be happy with it.

If I had that kind of money and the waifu was customization or if I could make a husbando, then yes.
I'd have to turn off the texting program though, I hate responding to texts and always ignore them.

>had some learning capability along the line of an advanced chatbot
With the state of current AI research, I'd rather it doesn't have "learning capability". Instead, they could collect dialogue from the hologram robot (anonymously of course), and have real, actual women write lines that could be potential responses, and feed the data back to the robot

This is just an incredibly inferior version of a dozen other systems combined into one.

You want a cute relationship simulator? There are literally hundreds of dating sims out there, pick your poison. A few even have "infinite" modes, but they're terrible.

You need a job to even make use of half the features of this. Buy an Alexa for 200 bucks, make a little maid outfit for the tower, and you've already got a better experience than this.

The main issue with a system like this is content. Because all the lines are voiced, that drastically reduces content down to a few hours of dialogue. All it does is feed you pre-programmed responses, and it'll run out eventually and start looping. Once you've seen all the little animations once, there's nothing new to experience, the novelty fades quickly.

If this was an AI in a box, I'd pay 250,000 for it in a heartbeat. Because I'm not retarded and can see through marketing bullshit instead of living in a fantasy land of "what-if's", I'd pay maybe 2.50 for the current device, as an app on my phone because there's no reason for it to have a base station.
