http://www.tokyoreporter.com/2017/03/02/tokyo-court-hands-defendant-in-mayu-tomita-stabbing-14-5-years-in-prison/

>TOKYO (TR) – The frenzied stalker who stabbed pop idol Mayu Tomita over 30 times has been handed a prison term of 14 years and six months, the conclusion of a trial that saw the defendant ejected from the courtroom for repeatedly shouting at the victim during trial, the Yomiuri Shimbun reports (Feb. 28).

>On May 21 of last year, Iwasaki, who was charged with attempted murder, stabbed Tomita in 34 locations, including her chest and head, with a knife prior to a concert at a venue in Koganei.

You have like ribs and skull over all your vital things and muscles and fat over the non vital abdomen stuff. Most of your limbs are just bones under some muscles. You have to really try to be able to kill someone unless you have like an actual sword and can impale or cut them in half or something like that. Even decapitating someone is pretty hard.

You probably wouldn't be able to put up a fight and would get cut in a fatal way though.

Usually in knife fight scenario first couple of tries are just cuts which bleed and the third hit is fatal so you have a very small window to act.

Fun fact a big reason for decline in violent crime is how good modern medicine is so things that would have resulted in murder are now "just" batteries which lets police play with the stats https://www.umass.edu/newsoffice/article/research-finds-us-murder-rate-suppressed-improved-emergency-medical-response

If all Zainichi Koreans were all deported at last, not only would crime rates drop on all levels since their bunch is overrepresented in all categories of felonies (murder, robbery, swindling, smuggling, sexual assault, counterfeiting), but Japanese tax payers would also breathe a sigh of relief since they have to pay for the special welfare privileges (over 2 trillion yen a year) of ungrateful shits who even detest the country they reside in without holding a citizenship.

It seems like you have little clue of what is going and are getting carried out after reading the word "idol", despite the fact that the victim did not actually engage in any idol-like activities, certainly not at the time of the incident.
Let me give a quick rundown based on facts:

What the guy was:
- former judoka
- former AV grunt, appeared in a Yui Hatano flick and got blown by her
- zainichi Korean with hwabyung issues
- obsessed with J-rock bands (just read his Ameba blog http://ameblo.jp/illion-0107/)) and Ai Hashimoto
- wannabe gardener (?)
What he wasn't:
- idol otaku or otaku in general

What the victim was:
- former drama actress
- theater actress
- ethnic Japanese
- indie singer-songwriter making a dime at live events
What she wasn't:
- idol

Thank you for your compliance.
